Fill in the arrival declaration (paper or via the customs mini-program). Declare currency over USD 5,000 equivalent, tobacco/alcohol within limits, valuables and plant/animal products.
Restrictions: fresh fruit, meat, seeds and other agricultural products are banned; medicines must be for personal use (bring prescriptions); items beyond reasonable self-use must be declared.
Border process: passport + visa/residence permit → fingerprints (at some ports on first entry) → customs. Allow 15-30 minutes. Keep your return ticket and accommodation info handy.
