HSK sessions are held throughout the year at cities in China and overseas test centers, usually monthly or bimonthly (paper and computer dates differ). Exact dates, registration windows and center lists come from the official Chinese Testing International (CTI) website and your local center — ignore unofficial "guaranteed pass" offers.
Registration typically opens 3-6 weeks ahead; popular centers fill up fast. Computer-based tests are more flexible and score faster; paper-based tests suit those who prefer traditional answering. Fees vary by level and region.
Process: register on the CTI website → choose level and center → upload photo and pay → print your admission ticket → sit the exam. Scores are usually available within 2-4 weeks.
